/v1/muhurta/graha-pravesh

Housewarming muhurta.

What this tells you

Scores one proposed house-entry (Graha Pravesh) date and time. It checks the tithi, weekday, Moon nakshatra, Rahu Kaal, Yamaganda, Panchaka and a Chandra Bala proxy, using its own lists of good tithis, weekdays and nakshatras, and returns a 0–100 score with a grade. It does not check the lunar month, the direction the house faces or the lagna.

Params: date, time, tz, lat, lon (plus optional ayanamsa). ChandraBala here is a paksha proxy: full points in Shukla paksha, half in Krishna paksha.

Usage tips

How to use it

  • Scan a date range
To find the best slots in a range, call /v1/muhurta/best-time with purpose=graha_pravesh.
  • Show warnings
Each warning names a factor that missed, such as a tithi outside the graha pravesh list. `warnings` is null when there are none.
