Shani (Saturn) dosha check.

What this tells you

Shani Dosha here is a birth-chart check. It looks at where Saturn sits from the lagna: Saturn in house 1, 4, 7, 8, 10 or 12 is flagged as a caution for marriage. Saturn in its own sign (Capricorn, Aquarius) or exalted (Libra) softens it, which is reported as mitigated. This is not a Sade Sati check. For Saturn's transit over the natal Moon, use /v1/transit/sade-sati.

When mitigated is true the response also has mitigation_reason: "Saturn in own sign" or "Saturn exalted". The field is left out otherwise.

Request

All requests require an Authorization header with your dv_live_* API key.

Response (200 OK)

Usage tips

How to use it

Parameter pattern
Takes one chart as birth.date, birth.time, birth.tz, birth.lat, birth.lon (birth.time defaults to 12:00). It does not read boy.* or girl.*. Call it once per partner.
Show mitigation
If has_dosha and mitigated are both true, show the dosha as softened and display mitigation_reason.

Errors

Every error follows the same envelope. Use the error.code field (not the message) for conditional logic in your integration.
