/v1/milan/nadi-dosha

Nadi dosha with exceptions.

What this tells you

Nadi Dosha occurs when both partners have the same nadi — Aadi, Madhya or Antya — from their Moon nakshatras. The classical concern is health and progeny. Nadi is the highest-weighted koota (8 of 36 points), so a Nadi Dosha can fail an otherwise strong match. The API exempts six specific same-nadi nakshatra pairs and reports them as "classical_rishi_exception". It does not apply rashi- or pada-based exceptions.

Usage tips

How to use it

  • Always list exceptions
Show severity and exceptions_applied. "exempted" means the nadis match but the pair is a listed exception, so has_dosha is false.
  • health is optional
health is left out when there is no dosha. Its keys are DoshaName, HealthRisk and Element (PascalCase, unlike the rest of the API).
  • Parameters
    Pass boy.date, boy.time, boy.tz and girl.date, girl.time, girl.tz (time defaults to 12:00). Optional: ayanamsa.
