API Reference / Reports & Utilities / Meta
/v1/meta/ayanamsas
Supported ayanamsa systems.
What this tells you
The sidereal ayanamsa systems the API supports, with each one's value at a given moment. Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) is the default. The systems differ by more than a degree (compare lahiri and raman in `value_deg`), enough to move a planet into another nakshatra or sign near a boundary.
Request
All requests require an Authorization header with your dv_live_* API key.

Usage tips
How to use it
- Expose as a user settingSome users want to switch ayanamsa. Add it as an advanced setting in your app.
- Labels are yoursThe response has no display label. Map names to labels in your app, e.g. fagan = Fagan-Bradley, true_chitrapaksha = True Chitrapaksha.
